B'day fun!
It was my birthday last Saturday and we all had a great night in the same private karaoke room we went to a few months ago. 3 pals were out of town unfortunately - Jarrah, Huong and Caroline but a good night was still had by all.
Danielle made me a horse cake! (made from cake materials, not horse of course). The taxi driver thought it was meant to be a bug. Now who would make a bug cake??
Around a feast of Japanese food, the singing began.
The Amazing Sandford Sisters really got the party started
Then the boys had a go (that's cheap sake, not water that Dave is sipping on)
Even Lily Allen made an appearance.
Andy B wins Best B-52s Impersonator prize.
And this girl wins Cutest Singing Face prize. Nothing's sweeter than an Irish person pronouncing it "Girls on Fil-um". (that's how people over there say film).
Then the Macaroni siblings gave it a go
And Danielle just couldn't stop!

This chap couldn't make it so here's a photo we prepared earlier...

Karaoke hyper-attack aftermath
A NY friend and a primary school friend.
Food aftermath (there are so many fantastic Japanese restaurants here)
But the best novelty-birthday cake maker has just left New York (sad face). We are all going to miss Danielle and Luke, it's been a wonderful month having them here. Melbourne you are very lucky!
